| In Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal's 2008 Solutions to Poverty Executive Order, Governor Jindal states that "the most effective strategies for reducing poverty are those that help... families move from poverty to self-sufficiency through effective educational and workforce supports." Governor Jindal calls for "continuing collaborative effort[s] between... government agencies, community-level stakeholders, nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations and private industry to identify and implement effective, efficient strategies for addressing poverty." |
